Wegbeschreibung

From the Cereda Pass, 1361 m., cross the highway towards East/ North-East for about one km all the way to the Padreterno site, at 1302 m., where a road leads South and then, turning to East, leads to the Matiùz village, at 1201 m. Two billboards in the village show the way to continue the Altavia delle Dolomiti n.2 down South. Reach the camping site and ascend towards South-East following the directions on the chalets, on a nice path through meadows, forest and pines. Cross a small road, follow towards South, then enter a strange inlet, at the end of which continue East underneath the rocky walls. Find the Intaiàda Path, which runs along the walls on a ledge that cuts the oriental face of the Sasso Largo. Reach a first small pass , continue along other ledges and passages reaching the bottom of a debritic canal. In this stretch, in the hardest points, is well equipped with fixed wired cables . Ascend, with some effort, on the canal for about 200 m of difference in altitude, keeping a left for safety – on the right and in the middle of the path there is the risk of landslides and fall of rocks, especially in case of storms. At the end come to Passo del Comedòn at 2067 m., famous for the transit of local smugglers at the time. We are now entering the magical world of the Nation Park of the Belluno Dolomites. Descend to the West, go through a pass and descend into a canal and then gravel ending on the wide and picturesque Regina Plane. Cross a very green oasis , ascend a little and then reach Bivacco Feltre 'Walter Bodo' at 1930 m., situated in a quite pleasant location. From the camp head South, on path 801, encountering the crossroad with 806 coming from the Stua Lake in the Canzòi plane. Keep a right (South) on path n. 801, encountering some water ponds. The path goes on up and down-hills through boulders and low vegetation, it passes below the impressive and contorted walls of the Parete Piatta, then it deviates to South-East and with some zigzags it reaches the grassy ledge of the Col de Béchi, at 1960 m. From here starts the Trói dei Caserìn (“trói” means a narrow path) that leads immediately to the wild walls of the Sass de Mura (or Mur). More or less in altitude, the path, often exposed but well equipped when required, crosses some severe moments, which aren't as difficult as they seem. At 1830 m altitude circa, the path bends towards South-West, passes though chamois inhabited meadows in the Casèrin area (that gives the name to the path), it encounters a cave, where you can find shelter in case of bad weather. Then it ascends steep grassy hills, reaching the Mura Pass at 1867 m., from which it comes to the green pass that looks on the Neva basin, with its peaceful Rifugio. Following the marker poles South-West (sign that fog is very frequent here), reach in short time the rifugio “Bruno Boz” at 1718 m.
