Turn-by-turn directions
From the parking area, you follow the directions for trail 709, in the direction of Rifugio Pradidali. Initially, the trail follows a forest road, which then joins a path that follows Val Pradidali. You ignore the path to the right, which leads to Malga Pradidali, and you continue to climb along trail 709.
At an altitude of about 1640 m, you reach a fork in Pedemonte locality. Here, you continue along trail 709, and ignore the trail marked 719, which branches off to the left.
The trail climbs decisively, zigzagging up the slope and passing a few rocky steps. The second part of the trail goes through some exposed sections, which are well secured with metal handrails. At an altitude of about 1930 m, you reach the turn off for the trail called “Sentiero Riccardo Simon”. Here, you ignore the path on the right that leads to the “Sentiero Attrezzato delle Sadole - Bivacco Minazio”, and continue straight uphill on the path that travels the steep grassy slopes, rocky outcrops and screes.
A final section, now at the centre of the valley, allows you to reach the Rifugio Pradidali, which departs from trail 709 slightly on the left.
To return, you follow the same route backwards.
