The tour goes through some iconic areas of the Natural Park Paneveggio Pale di San Martino: Paneveggio, Val Venegia, Baita Segantini and Passo Rolle with a stunning view on the Pala Group, UNESCO World Heritage Site. It also allows you to discover more about some historical and cultural aspects, having for example a visit to the ethnographic path “Sentiero Etnografico del Vanoi” and the Museum of the First World War.

Author’s recommendation

The tour allows you to discover some extraordinary areas and natural contexts of the Park. In Paneveggio, during the summertime, you can visit the Visitors Center “Terra Foresta”, where you can learn more about the big Norway Spruce Forest, which is also known as the Violins’ Forest, since its wood has always been chosen by luthiers to make violins. At the Passo Rolle you can enjoy a stunning view of the Cimon della Pala and on the Tognola you will find the “Panoramic Balcony on the Dolomites”. From the Balcony you can enjoy a view on the Lagorai Chain, on the Vette Feltrine and on the majestic Pala Group. Moreover, in the Vanoi Valley you can discover the ethnographic path “Sentiero Etnografico, a “journey through space and time“.
