The route winds along a path for about half of its length on the themed way called the Muses of Fedaie and it can include a visit to the Welsperg Lake, that has recently undergone restoration and work on naturalizing its shores. We also recommend a visit to the Park headquarters as it offers various themed topics.
In order to avoid situations that may endanger their own and other people’s safety, bikers are asked to be particularly careful in case of men at work in the wood and interrupted trail. From the car park, take the dirt road towards the mountain which turns into a trail with ups and downs further ahead, continue for about 1 km until intersecting the paved road that leads to Piereni. Turn right, cross the bridge over the Canali stream, then at the intersection turn right again and after 50 m, turn left. From here, follow the dirt path and the signs for Muse Fedaie until intersecting a forest track, then turn left and take the trail that leads to the shores of the Welsperg lake. Return to Villa Welsperg along the cycle/pedestrian path that runs alongside the road, then after a short visit to the Villa park, return to the starting point.
From the main road just before Villa Welsperg, follow the signs for Il Cacciatore restaurant, after the bridge on the Canali stream, there's a large car park on the right (for a fee from 1st July until the second Sunday of September).
Percorso molto rilassante e soprattutto adatto a tutti visto lo scarso dislivello. Numerosi pannelli didattici lungo il percorso e punti di sosta permettono di ammirare e comprendere a pieno il paesaggio.
