This wonderful tour will introduce one of the most characteristic valleys in the area. The route runs mostly on unpaved roads in the Val Venegia valley, until you reach the famous Baita Segantini hut. From this privileged vantage point at 2.200 m altitude, you can admire the cliffs of the Pale di San Martino in their full beauty. Starting point from car park at Passo Rolle.
In order to avoid situations that may endanger their own and other people’s safety, bikers are asked to be particularly careful in case of men at work in the wood and interrupted trail.
Please note that the practicability of the itineraries in a mountain environment is strictly linked to the contingent conditions and is therefore influenced by natural phenomena, environmental changes and weather conditions. For this reason, the information contained in this page may have changed. Before leaving for a tour, make sure the path you will approach is still accessible by contacting the owner of the mountain hut, the alpine guides or the visitor centres of the nature parks, the info offices of the local tourist board.
From the starting point (Rolle Pass), climb for a few hundred metres towards Baita Segantini and at the first junction, take the forest track down towards Malga Juribello. Past the hut, continue up to the junction, which after turning right leads to the forest track and then the Pian dei Casoni trail (type S2 downhill). From the car park, take the gravel road that crosses the entire Val Venegia, initially flat until Malga Venegiota, then slightly uphill around the 11 bends until the famous Baita Segantini. From here, a downhill return to the Rolle Pass, passing by Capanna Cervino.
