This trail, an excellent training, can be traversed in both directions, with more consecutive repetitions, practicing changes in speed for a fun and fruitful running session immerged in nature. Along the old military trail there are two rock caves, likely military shelters dating back to World War I.

Turn-by-turn directions
From the Caserota of Malga Ces you descend toward San Martino di Castrozza along the beautiful path through the woods. Once you reach the Valcigolera forest road you proceed to the left following the signs for Seggiovia Punta Ces (ski lift), and, reached the asphalt road, you turn left; immediately afterwards, about 30 meters away, you take the old military trail. Following the directions, you arrive to the forest road through the forest gardens, and just a little farther, turning left, you take the path to Malga Ces.
